What do the Special Olympics mascot, Amtrykes, hula hoops, soccer balls, and freshly baked cookies have in common? They were all at the Community Building on Tuesday, April 25 when the McPherson County Special Education Cooperative hosted its first Agency Fair. The room buzzed with activity when representatives from OCCK, AMBUCS, CDDO, MCDS, Prairie View, KMA, and Special Olympics presented their services to the attendees. It was an exciting time to see AMBUCS supply two Amtrykes and a wheelchair to three young people with special needs. CDDO worked out Day Services for a client, and many other exciting connections were made.
